Shrinkwrap is a magazine that highlights the collecting of small art figurines, "blind box" toys and the culture that surrounds these collectors. The major creator and dealer of these toys is Kidrobot, they are known for their blank Munny toys and artist-created toys and imports from Japan, Hong Kong, and Europe. The Munny is a blank toy that has provided the creative canvases for numerous illustrators, and street artists. These toys are well known in the lowbrow artistic subculture, paint-your-own Munny art shows are held yearly showcasing some of the top artists in this movement. This magazine showcases the homes, art shows, influences, contests and culture that surround these unique collectable toys.
