While working on designing this mural I collaborated with the Athenahealth restaurant chefs and the facilities team. I created concepts for a large chalk-art mural that would consist of elements that changed seasonally (painted in chalk) and elements that were permanent (painted with one-shot)
The feel of the piece was fun and quirky, incorporating food puns and focusing on the freshness and seasonally fresh food. The map on the left of the wall depicts all the farms the food is sourced from and how far they are from the restaurant/cafeteria.
Some other quirky elements were hidden on other walls and places in the restaurant, a small accomplishment "trophy" wall, little birds drawn up in the rafters and the people/elements on the "Farm Fresh" map would change seasonally.
